Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Localendar (“we,” “us”). By using the site or subscribing to a calendar, you agree to them.
The service
Localendar curates Austin-area event calendars and serves them as subscribable feeds (ICS) for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and similar apps. Some feeds are free; others require a paid subscription.
Accounts
You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your private feed links confidential — anyone with a premium feed link can read that calendar. You can regenerate or revoke your link any time from your dashboard.
Plans, billing & cancellation
- Free calendars are free to use.
- Premium is a recurring subscription (currently $5/month, USD), billed through Stripe and auto-renewing each period.
- You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then premium feeds stop updating.
- Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
Event content
Event information is aggregated from publicly available venue and listing sources and is provided “as is.” Dates, times, lineups, and details can change or be inaccurate — always confirm with the venue or official source before making plans. Localendar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the venues or events listed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly share premium feeds or links.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or abuse the service or its API.
- Attempt to bypass the subscription or access controls, or disrupt the service.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any calendar, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Localendar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed events, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using the service any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
